PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive
PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive is available from BK Shop. The information below provides useful details about PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive to help you decide whether it is right for you.
Please review all of the information provided for PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive before placing your order.
PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive
This fully refurbished Sony PlayStation 3 Slim console has been upgraded with a 1TB internal hard drive, providing more storage capacity than many original PlayStation 3 consoles. It is a practical replacement for customers who already own compatible controllers, cables and accessories.
Whether you are replacing an existing console or putting together a PS3 setup, the upgraded storage gives you additional room for game installations, downloadable content, software updates and saved progress.
This is a variable product. Please select your preferred console option from the available choices before adding it to your basket. The price and availability may change depending on your selection, so check your chosen variation carefully before purchasing.
Upgraded 1TB Internal Storage
The fitted 1TB hard drive provides generous storage for compatible game installations, downloadable content, updates, saved games and supported media files.
This additional capacity is useful if you prefer keeping several games installed instead of regularly deleting content to make room. Game installation sizes vary, so the number of titles you can store depends on the individual games and their additional content.
Available storage will be lower than the advertised capacity because of formatting and space reserved for the console’s system files.
The upgrade increases storage capacity. It does not increase the console’s processing power or graphical performance, and it does not guarantee faster loading times.
Console Only for an Existing Setup
The PS3 Console Only Upgraded 1TB Hard Drive is supplied with the console and its fitted internal hard drive.
Controllers, power leads, HDMI cables, AV cables, games and additional accessories are not included. This makes the listing suitable for buyers replacing a console who already have the necessary accessories.
If you are starting a setup from scratch, you will need to obtain a compatible controller, suitable power lead and an appropriate connection cable for your television or monitor.
Fully Refurbished Condition
These consoles have been refurbished for continued use. As previously owned equipment, individual units may show scratches, marks or other cosmetic signs of wear.
The appearance can vary between consoles. Refurbished condition does not mean that every exterior component has been replaced or that the console will look brand new.
Please review the photographs and any condition information associated with your selected option to understand the appearance of the console you are purchasing.
PlayStation 3 Games and Entertainment
The PlayStation 3 offers an extensive library of games across action, adventure, racing, sport, fighting, role-playing and family genres. It is suitable for revisiting familiar favourites or exploring compatible games you missed.
The PS3 Slim supports compatible PlayStation 3 game discs, Blu-ray movies, DVDs and supported CDs. Games and films are purchased separately.
HDMI output supports up to 1080p, although the resolution displayed depends on the game or content, your connection and your television’s capabilities. USB ports, Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controller support provide connections for compatible accessories and networking.
Standard PS3 Slim consoles do not play original PlayStation 2 game discs. Some older online services and game servers may also have closed, so online features should be checked for the games you intend to play.
Homebrew and Console Customisation
The PlayStation 3 Slim is popular with enthusiasts interested in homebrew applications, custom software and console modifications.
Depending on the specific model number and installed firmware, some consoles may support Custom Firmware (CFW) or PS3HEN. The upgraded hard drive provides additional space for compatible applications and content.
These consoles are not supplied pre-modded, and compatibility with particular modifications is not guaranteed. If you require a specific model or firmware version, check the selected variation and contact BK Shop for any missing information before purchasing.
Real-Time Clock Battery
Some consoles may have a depleted or non-functioning real-time clock (RTC) battery. This small internal battery helps maintain the date and time while the console is disconnected from electricity.
If the battery is depleted, you may need to set the date and time manually or use automatic internet synchronisation where available. The clock may need correcting again after the console has been unplugged.
This does not normally prevent everyday gaming, although certain functions that depend on the correct date and time may require the clock to be adjusted.
Rubber Feet and Screw Covers
Some consoles may be missing one or more rubber feet, protective pads or screw cover inserts.
These components are usually located underneath the console. They help protect surfaces, improve stability or cover screw openings. Missing components do not normally affect the console’s electronic operation.
Place the console on a stable, level surface and take care when positioning it on furniture, particularly if protective feet are missing.
Cooling and Fan Noise
Fan noise can vary between refurbished consoles. The cooling fan may become more noticeable during demanding games or when the console is used in a warm room.
Some units may operate slightly louder than others. Small differences in cooling noise do not necessarily indicate a fault, but excessive grinding, rattling, overheating or unexpected shutdowns should not be considered normal.
Keep ventilation openings clear and leave sufficient space around the console for airflow. Avoid covering it or placing it in a tightly enclosed cabinet.
Replacing Your Existing PS3
Replacing your console does not automatically transfer the contents of your previous hard drive, account information or saved progress.
Existing games and saved data will need to be transferred or restored separately where supported. If you are replacing a working console, consider any data you want to preserve before changing your setup.
Check that your existing controller and cables are compatible with the selected console, especially if you use third-party accessories.

What Is PlayStation 3?
PlayStation 3, commonly called PS3, is a Sony home games console. BK Shop listings in this category may include consoles, games, controllers and accessories. Check each product listing for the exact item and what is included.
Console Models and Storage
PS3 consoles were released in different designs and storage configurations. Check the model number, storage details, condition and included cables in the individual listing. A console photograph alone does not confirm its full specification.
PlayStation 3 Games
Choose software identified for PlayStation 3. Check the game title, edition, disc condition and included contents. A game case or cover image does not mean that additional downloadable content or accessories are included.
Controllers and Accessories
Controllers, charging cables and specialist accessories must be compatible with your console and intended game. Check the exact accessory model before purchasing. Unless stated, a separately listed controller or accessory does not include a console.
Older PlayStation Games
Compatibility with older PlayStation software depends on the exact PS3 model and game. Do not assume every PS3 plays PlayStation 2 discs. Verify your console model and the specific title before buying for backwards compatibility.
Condition and Included Items
Review photographs and the stated condition. Pre-owned products may show wear. Original boxes, manuals, controllers and cables are included only where confirmed by the listing. Check whether a product is complete or sold as an individual part.
Accounts, Updates and Online Features
Online features depend on the game, service availability, internet access and account requirements. Services can change or close. Do not assume that previous owners’ accounts, digital purchases, unused codes or paid subscriptions are included.
Age Suitability and Safe Use
Check game age ratings and relevant accessory instructions. Connect the console using suitable equipment and allow ventilation. Review all product-specific information before ordering; the individual listing describes what you will receive.
